Cynthia Charmichael

Cynthia Carmichael earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She worked in the fields of Therapeutic Recreation and Art Education before focusing on fine art. Primarily a representational artist who works in oil and pastel, Cynthia is excited to be traveling to England this summer to paint plein air in the
Cotswolds.
“As long as I can recall, I have found freedom and renewal in the process of art making. As a child, I was pleasantly surprised by the positive reactions of those who saw my creations, and that pleasure of connecting with the viewer persists to this day. The direction of my work encompasses the appreciation of the natural world and the attempt to capture the beauty of the moment.“
