Tracey J. Maroni

Artist Bio

Tracey J. Maroni is a professional visual artist from Massachusetts who works in paint and mixed media. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a painting major and art history minor from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her mixed media paintings are Influences by her connections to natural surroundings of water, terrain, light and sky. Ms. Maroni has exhibited in solo and group shows in New England and the West coast. Her work can be found in many private collections.

 

Ms. Maroni's recent exhibits include The Painted Fox Gallery, Foxboro, MA; the invitational titled Focus on the Past at Attleboro Arts Museum; Cove Gallery, Well fleet, MA; juried exhibit at Concord Center for the Visual Arts, Concord, MA; a national juried exhibition, Attleboro Arts Museum, MA; annual juried show at Zullo Gallery, Medfield, MA; three person show at Graham Gallery, Bristol, RI; and the Pell Lucy Art Collective.

Deborah Barlow, Artist, Writer, and Curator has written: "Maroni's work is subtle, layered, complex. It also invited a slow, careful viewing to reveal its rich presence. Her approach brings to mind the words of the poet Seamus Heaney: 'What matters is the shape-making impulse, the emergence and convergence of an excitement into wholeness.'"
